Shipping & Returns

Plain language, outside the fiction. This page governs real orders.

Shipping

Editions are dispatched once a month, in the first week of the month, as tracked or untracked letter mail depending on destination. Worldwide shipping is included in the price unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Typical delivery times after dispatch: Portugal 2–5 working days; rest of Europe 5–12 working days; rest of the world 10–25 working days. These are postal estimates, not guarantees.

Please make sure your address at checkout is complete and correct. Orders returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be re-shipped at cost.

Lost or damaged in the mail

If your edition has not arrived within 30 days of the dispatch notice (60 days outside Europe), or arrives damaged, write to records@thecryptidpost.com with your order number (and a photo, if damaged). We will send a replacement of the same edition while stock lasts, or refund the order. Sealed editions that have sold out cannot be replaced — in that case we refund.

Returns & right of withdrawal (EU)

All purchases are one-time purchases of single editions — there is no subscription and nothing renews. Under EU consumer law you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance purchases; the law provides an exception for the supply of periodicals and magazines sold as single issues. In practice, our policy is:

If you change your mind, contact us within 14 days of delivery. If the mylar seal is unbroken, return the edition to the address we provide (return postage paid by you) and we refund the price on arrival. Opened editions cannot be returned — each is a numbered, sealed collectible.

None of this limits your statutory rights, including the legal guarantee for goods that arrive defective or not as described.
